CERTIFICATION TRAINING (WOU) / ODOT APPROVED INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Upon hire, we will cover the tuition cost for you to attend the mandatory training offered through WOU (a link to the schedule of classes can be found below). Upon successful completion of these courses, applicants will receive a certificate as an ODOT Approved Driving Instructor from WOU. The mandatory state training is a college course and is required to teach students participating in approved courses. For that reason, like securing an education/degree to be a doctor, a nurse, or any other professional, you will not be paid while attending the initial training classes or mandatory continuing education courses. Again, we will cover the cost for your initial tuition. After starting in the position/securing an ODOT certification you will receive paid “in house” training.
